Drag the StuffIt Expander icon into the Applications folder to install it. This will start the installer for StuffIt Expander. You can also download StuffIt Expander from the Mac App Store.If you are using OS X 10.7 or lower, make sure to download the older version from the Download page.You can download it from my./stuffit-expander-mac.html. StuffIT Expander is a free utility developed by SmithMicro. Download StuffIt Expander from the developer's website.Right-click on a RAR file, select "Open With", and then choose UnRarX from your list of Applications. Instead of having to drag the files each time, you can set your Mac to automatically open RAR files in UnRarX when you double-click them. Set future RAR files to open in UnRarX.Your extracted files will be found in a folder in the same location as the RAR file you extracted. You will see words "All OK" at the bottom of the display once the extraction is complete. Make sure all the parts are in the same folder. If you are extracting a multi-part RAR file, drag the ".rar" or ".part001.rar" file into the UnRarX window.
